wen wearin an england shirt no-one trys harder than beckham. he's a real patriot and u cant say that about most of our other players. hes not one of our best players anymore but his place in the squad is deserved because his effort is top notch nd to hav as a sub hes always gna make an impact coming on puttin the ball on someones head. to put less boring, beckham is a ledgend!

He is only training with AC as the MLS season finishes in November, he will tour with Galaxy to New Zealand and another country in December. AC said that they MAY like to sign him, but as yet nothing.

well now apparently he`s signing with AC Milan... so i guess NOW we`ll see just how much left he has in his tank... the Calcio will not be as easy as the MLS... in fact for a player like him at that stage of his carrer it`ll be like going from heaven to hell... because now he`s gonna have to go against giants like Inter, Roma, Juventus, Lazio, Napoli, Fiorentina, etc... good luck Becks.... you`re gonna need it...

Not really a good comparison though is it? MLS? My cat and I would form a leathal strike partnership in that? International football (Competitve at that) is a different ball game if you pardon the pun. Becks skill has always been one dimensional, you need more than being a great dead ball striker. He has lost one or two yards. Is injury prone, and quite frankly past it.

Becks hasn't really had the chance to show his skill because he is hardly played these days. Capello always subs him off at half time or brings him on for the last 10 minutes, in which it is impossible to prove yourself. Look at how he's playing for LA at the moment, he's doing really well there.

Becks hasn't been in form for about two years to be honest. The last two or three apperances he has been laborious and uneventful. It is time to let go and allow a new generation to come through. And to be fair can Beckham score free kicks like this regulary anymore? The answer, sadly, is no.

Capello may be better, but the selection policies shouldn't be looked at any differemtly because of the manager. Can Theo score free kicks like this? No. Becks just hasn't been in form lately and with a bit of international experience, he'll bounce back. Theo and David should both be payed on opposite wings, that'll create a lethal combination and really benifit our attack game.

Because Capello is a much better manager than Mclown? Sad to say but Becks is not justified as being first choice anymore. Someone to have in the squad to give the youngster encourement and add vital experiance. An impact sub at best.
