Platini, Blanc, Dugari and many more are not Africans and are of the best football players ever. Their football is professional, sophisticated, elegant and they never won world cup before because they hadnt broken bones like the GERmans did to them..

Fantastic match. France needed 1 point from two matches to qualify for USA 94 and they lost both of them. They lost from Bulgaria with a goal in 90 mins. WE (bulgarians) went to the finals and we played in the semi-final... Huge thanx for Israel :)

Yeah but unlike Israel here, Croatia is a top team that won the group and had already beaten England in the first leg in Zagreb...

we was very weak then its was our first year in europe i think. but we had a good players. ronie rosental was very good player in liverpool in that time,berkovich was a good player in enlgand a couple of years after that. played in manc city,portsmoth,saout... and other english teams. boni ginzburg was a keeper in rangers i think. and revivo played in celta in spain a couple of years after that.

I would say no, but who knows... You have to take into account the fact that our clalification group for USA'94 turned up to pretty decent - we and Sweden made it to the semis, so maybe France could have done the same, you never know. But I am sure that those results gave the French a lesson, and it also gave them ambition for the next World Cup...

i couldn't had said better myself, if this french made it to the world cup they've could of probably won it they had great players that were young. Also having Papin and Cantona that's just great i just feel bad that while those two players were playing they didn't participate in any world cup.

That is one of the greatest qualifiers ever. Its sad it had to happen to this French team which was one of the best teams ever, Definitely better than the `98 team which defended its way to the championship

Nothing sums up the farce of France's situation than the second goal where the Israeli player in a perfect "can't miss" scoring position is fouled by another Israeli player and the ball runs on to a third Israeli who does the damage.

How the hell did France lose that game, those chances to make it 3-1 were terribly missed! Needing just 1 point from 2 games and they lost them both, talk about bottling it!
