well the people there won't forget him... it was an powerfull championship and it is now in spain... at galata it wasn't like that... there was like a teacher for the players there... at barca was like an begginer but I think that there he learned a lots of things and he made a lots of things... maybe not hes peak but... anyway! we all agree that he is in that table of the best pleayers in the world, near zidane, pele, Beckenbauer, Figo etc. ;)

you are saying that he was at his top at barcelona right..Is that why he played just for 35 matches in 2 seasons ..and as u said he started his career in steaua after steaua won the CCC(champion clubs' cup) at '87 and won the super cup with steaua at '87 when he wasnt at his prime..

man...HAGI started his PRO career at STEAUA BUCHAREST after we(STEAUA)won the Champions Cup(CHAMPIONS LEAGUE) in 86' with a great team beating Barcelona in Spain at penalty, DUCKADAM saved all 4 shots...but here was a period of comunism and he received a lots of invitation to play outside at BIG clubs.after the comunism ended he went to REAL but imagine what player he was now if he went then in 88 at REAL!There he perfected his skills and after that at Barcelona!Barcelona was his career peak...

do you think that hagi was at his prime before coming to galatasaray ..hagi become real hagi at the time when he started to play for galatasaray..of course we turks are greatfull to these romanian players but i think that they are greatful to us too..

WRONG!!! HAGI was and is an left foot player, basic left foot player, BUT he played also very very good with his right foot like any football star in the world. every good football player witch respects himself can player with eighter foots same. HAGI was one of them. but HAGI was a GREAT player!!!
