Yes. Gohan transformed in the RST. So no reason why Goku couldn't have. His motivation is to better himself, that motivation is his key to higher levels, and is all that's required. USSJ was achieved in RST. Gotenks went SSJ3 in RST. Instant transmission, spirit bomb and kaio ken are techniques needed precisely BECAUSE of a low power level. A monstrously high power level would negate the need for any specialized techniques against an opponent much weaker.

Interesting. Howeve... (even assuming Goku COULD train in the RST for 7yrs & escape)- are you forgeting the whole escence of DBZ? Training alone may increase ones power- but battle experience, the desire to win & the challenge of defeating a superior opponent are what cause these fighters to reach new levels. Do u really think Goku would learn powerful techniques such as Kaoi-Ken, Genki Dama (hehe), "instant tranmission".. or transform into the legendary SSJ by training in the RST? YOU FOOL!!

Alternatively, you could make sense of everything. Remember when Future Trunks came to warn everyone of the Androids? Bulma said instead of waiting for 3 years they could just find Dr Gero and kill him before he finishes his androids. But Goku, Vegeta etc. preferred to train for 3 years and fight a strong opponent. They're saiyans remember, battling and defeating a stronger opponent is like a biological need for them.

One answer: Everything in dragon ball could have ended in the first episode if Goku trained in the room of spirit and time for a week (7 years) and finished everyone off as they came with a single breath. If you watch DBZ because it makes sense, you're not getting what this is: entertainment! (one of the best around)

Super Buu with absortions is the strongest Buu and the second strongest warrior in the universe (Vegetto Ssj is the strongest) . Super Buu with not absortions is stronger than Kid Buu, Goku Ssj3 and Fat Buu. Gohan Saiko no senshi is strongest than Goku Ssj3, Gotenks Ssj3 and Super Buu. Gotenks is stronger Than Super Buu and Goku Ssj3.

You are wrong. Gohan and Vegeta didn't even hurt the Big Monster. Gohan didn't even hit him, and Vegeta's hits tickled him. He even beat Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks with one punch. yet, one punch from Goku and the monster is destroyed. But that's non-canon.

Kid buu is weaker then Super Buu (Gohan) and Super Buu (Gotenks) and maybe Super Buu (Piccolo) it's a fact... Or else SS3 Goku wouldn't stand a chance against him...
