At age 38 and 315 days, MJ shattered the record for the oldest player to score 50+. The game prior had MJ scoring just 6 due to injury which stopped his NBA-record double-figures scoring streak at 866 games. MJ came out to make up for that here. It should be mentioned that MJ's injury limited him to just 2 full-game scrimmages the entire year in practice. One must wonder, without the injury, what might have been possible at ages 38-40? Zone was allowed starting that year with hand-checking tighter than today as one-legged, twilight MJ broke a few records that day.

Do you know what I hate? People that don't ever watch basketball (or play it) and all the sudden they like Michael Jordan just cause his sneakers. There are teens theses days that know every Michael Jordan shoe there is but, If you ask him about what year Jordan started playing or what is Michael Jordan's highest pointes in a game they dont know. It makes me sick, if your wathing this vid 6/10 your probaly a real Jordan and basketball fan. The other 4 are faggets.

Just opinion, aside from scoring titles, rings, and skill, MJ was a true LEADER. On the Bulls, he made the team better, he honored his teammates (like when Steve Kerr him a game winning shot), had great chemistry with Scottie Pippen, and took over when necessary. LOL mj was shittin on that hornets defense with had some good defesinve players.even though he had some great moments as a wizard,he shouldve stayed retired at 1998,that final shot vs glen russell was picture perfect,all net to win a ring.theres no better way to finish a career than on top.playing for the wiz hurt his legacy but not that much

Dwade- he does have a while to go before he's in the consideration of GOAT, and you've just said what he had to do. Before he gets into my top 10, he has to lead his team to at least 1 ring, or win about every award you can in basketball for the next 5 years (which won't happen). He has earned his respect, but's he's not close to Jordan and one 81-pt game doesn't doesn't change that.

kobe has a ways to go?? mvp, couple of championship rings,some scoring titles which is all good but im not saying hes even close to micheal,but still kobe is the best player in the world RIGHT NOW and thats enough in my opinion to hold him in the top 15(atleast)best players of all-time so dont say he has a ways to go hes earned his respect
