Great goal I love the whole walking pace of it , though for me Carlos Alberto 'running' spoils it a little, because the walking tempo of his teammates makes the build up so effortless

Yes, he was lucky in this point! This is the best team work goal of world cups. The best individual I need to say is from Maradona in 1986.

Look very carefully, the ball bobbles up just before Carlos Alberto kicks it, it could have ended up way over the bar!

Yes, Tostão in Brazil is known for being a smart and very intelligent player. He was a number "9" but made good passes too. And after hs retirement cause of eye problems, he studied medicine and became a doctor. Cool, isn't it?

I also just noticed that Tostao actually started the move deep in his own half and ended up the furthest forward when the goal was scored

I do agree with you. That Brazil team were for me the greatest. Although you must remember that the score was already 3-1 with just a few mins left. Italy had given up by now.

This is the best team-work goal of the planet BUT, I saw that Tostão, the white guy in front of pele, points his arm in Carlos Alberto direction, what means pele had help of tostao to make that pass. I'm not claimming pele is a retard ;) just finding something many people don't see...
